Phil Whitebloom is an amateur astronomer with a passion for Solar astronomy and Solar astro-photography. His pictures of the Sun were taken using telescopes that are specially filtered to prevent damage to the eyes. Many people have requested their own high quality prints of Phil's pictures. His pictures have been published on various astronomy sites and publications. Some of Phil's pictures are on display at the Robinson Nature Center in Columbia, MD.
