John’s subjects are nature landscapes and wildlife, but any natural human moment in nature also qualifies. He was recently awarded Honorable Mention in top 100 in the national “Wilderness 50” contest, celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Wilderness Act -- including promotion at the Smithsonian Museum Of Natural History and other national outlets. John is also published in multiple books, newspaper articles, and travel blogs celebrating the Southwest, as well as Arizona Highways Magazine.
